 Maximum Edge uses a seven-step patented squaring and finishing process:

1. Machine Calibration
2. Blade Preparation 1
3. Machine Sharpening
4. Blade Preparation 2
5. Finishing Pass
6. Blade Calibration
7. Blade Finishing Process

Using this finely honed process you will receive the same consistent results every time. 

The benefits of this skate sharpening system include:

1.  No break-in period after sharpening.
2. Edges stay sharper, longer. Blade edges stay sharp longer, so skaters do not have to change skating styles to compensate for the blade edges as they break down, resulting in less fatigue and injury.
